This show delves into that very question, beginning with the haunting strains of Dvořák’s New World Symphony, building to a dramatic fanfare based on Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody. The second movement offers a reflective pause, inspired by Coldplay’s “Fix You” and Beethoven’s “Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee,” as darkness and suffering give way to hope. The final movement brings it all together with a triumphant recapitulation, merging Bohemian Rhapsody with Beethoven’s Ode to Joy, and delivers an uplifting message: no matter the obstacles, happiness is within reach—and always worth pursuing.
