Yet, there’s always someone craving the immense power that comes with this chair. Leslie Gilreath’s intense marching band show, overTHRONE, depicts the struggle for a monarchy, fought between its sitting ruler and the person who believes they deserve to take that seat. Music from Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony, the regal works of Tchaikovsky, and original music by Gilreath carry the action. Will your ensemble be bold enough to fight for the throne?
