One such tale is the story of Medusa, in which the goddess Athena turns a woman’s glorious hair into snakes as punishment. Leslie Gilreath creates a mysterious marching band show depicting the vile acts of Medusa and her monstrous, stony-eyed glare. Combining original music with Samuel Barber’s “Adagio” and the “Danse Bacchanale” by Camille Saint-Saëns, this passionate show will have your ensemble ruling the field.
