A wish can be defined as the childlike desire for something, the hope for a tangible item. Yet as people mature, so do their wishes…the yearning for acceptance, for success, for love. Wishes can often be confused with dreams, yet fundamentally they are very different concepts—and noting this may be enlightening to your young performers. Marty McCartt explores the idea of wishes in this exciting marching band show. Edgy and mysterious at the outset, this production evolves into a soaring, sentimental finale—with many tender moments in between.
