Opening with Don McLean’s ‘Starry, Starry Night’ and building through Brian Balmages’ ‘Rippling Watercolors,’ the show creates a rich musical landscape that enhances its medieval narrative. Pair ‘Good Knight’ with a reading of Dylan Thomas’s poem, ‘Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night’ (as recommended by the composer) to enable a comparison between the image of a knight defending his noble cause and that of a dying man fighting until his last breath for life.
